GERHARD BOTHA - Partner

Gerhard obtained his B.Comm degree at Stellenbosch University at the end of 1999 and completed his articles at the Villiersdorp branch of TDP. During 2003 he was allowed as full practising member of SAIPA and opened the Somerset West branch of TDP within the same year. In 2010 he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law from the Stellenbosch University and in 2012 the Certificate in Independent Review. Gerhard is married to Michelle and they have two sons, Jacques and Christiaan.

ALBERT LOUW - Partner

|
Albert obtained his B.Tech CMA degree from UNISA at the end of 2009 and completed his articles at TDP Somerset West during 2010. He was thereafter allowed as full practicing member of SAIPA. During 2012 he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law from the Stellenbosch University as well as the Certificate in Independent Review. Albert is married to Marisa and they have two children, Mari and Johan-Henri.

SANÉL THEART – Audit Partner

Sanél obtained her B.Compt degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Science part-time through UNISA whilst completing her SAICA articles. She thereafter qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) during 2015 and registered as a Registered Auditor at the IRBA during 2017. Sanél is married to Jacobus and they have three children, Laïke, Xander and Layla.

ALETTA DELPORT – Partner

Aletta obtained her B.Comm Management Accounting degree at Stellenbosch University at the end of 2010 and completed her articles at TDP Somerset West during 2014. She was thereafter allowed as full practising member of SAIPA. In 2017 she obtained the Certificate in Independent Review. Aletta is married to André and they have two children, Cobus and Ané.

JOHAN LABUSCHAGNE – Partner (Tulbagh)

Johan joined TDP during 2011 at the Somerset West branch while still studying towards his BComm Management Accounting degree at Stellenbosch University. In 2012 he obtained his degree and in 2015 he was allowed as a full practising member of SAIPA. During the same year he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law at Stellenbosch University and partnered with TDP Somerset West to open a branch in the historic and picturesque town of Tulbagh. In 2016 he obtained the Certificate in Independent Review.

JACO BARNARD – Partner (Port Elizabeth)

|
Jaco obtained his B.Com Honours degree from UPE (now Nelson Mandela University) in 1996 and completed his SAICA articles at Ernst and Young in Port Elizabeth, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1999. He has worked in various fields, including 16 years as a senior lecturer, specialising in IFRS, and four years as managing director in a national training and B-BBEE consulting company. He is married to Annemarie and has two daughters, Alexa and Layla.

DARIUS DE BEER - Manager West Coast - Satellite Branch

|
Darius obtained his B.Compt degree at University of South Africa in 2019 and completed his articles at TDP Somerset West. In 2020 he was allowed as full practising member of SAIPA. During the same year he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law from the Stellenbosch University. In 2023 he partnered with TDP Somerset West to open a branch in the naturally exquisite West Coast District of the Western Cape. Darius is married to Bianca and resides in St Helena Bay.
